Teclast X3 Pro 2-in-1 Tablet with Intel Skylake 6Y30 CPU, 8GB RAM, and 128GB SSD Storage

The evolution of 2-in-1 tablet computers continue to surprise us with the soaring memory and storage sizes. Chinese manufacturers are taking advantage the demand of these machines by introducing their very own line of convertible handheld devices. Teclast X3 Pro is another 2-in-1 tablet with 11.6-inch screen. And it is the big brother of the 9.7-inch Teclast X98 Pro and 10.1-inch Teclast TBook 10 convertible tablets with Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition OS.

Other convertible tablets of Teclast offers a dual-boot system, sporting an Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and Windows 10 platforms. TBook 10 is on the list of these models along with Chuwi Hi10, Chuwi Hi12, Xiaomi Mi Pad 2. Compared to other models with the same Windows 10 platform, X3 Pro offers a wide range of resources and processing power.

This is the first Chinese tablet equipped with Intel Skylake 6Y30 CPU. Its 8GB memory doubled the size of other smaller brands and the 128GB SSD drive reminds me of a high-performance machine for video playback, browsing, and even for processing multimedia applications. It has an elegant docking keyboard and aluminum alloy back cover.

And the entire package of X3 Pro includes a stylus pen aside from its exclusive docking keyboard. Hopefully, there will be an Android or dual-boot enabled version of this model to hit the market in the near future.

Prices of Teclast X3 Pro may start at about $350 and up. Its underlying specs, the soaring RAM and SSD storage contributes to its expensive price tag. However, it has a shortcomings in camera and regular-size USB port. Its 9000mAh battery capacity is maybe enough to support three to four hours of operation.
