Sony Introduces Xperia T3, Mid-Range Version of M2 and T2 Ultra

Sony introduces a new breed of Android 4.4 (KitKat) smartphone, the Xperia T3. That is to expand their product range to a 5.3-inch model which is between the line of Xperia M2 and Xperia T2 Ultra. Few months ago, the Japanese brand invade Taiwan through their 4.3-inch flagship for about NT $15,000.00 and now, a new surprising smaller model compared to M2 is coming.

Compared to Xperia Z, the T3 is running an Android 4.4 platform with the same specification to M2 as well in T2 Ultra except for its 5.3-inch screen. And that size falls to the middle of a typical smartphone and phablet-size versions. This might be the Xperia D6503 handset which showed out from the wild last January.

We cannot say that Sony is re-branding their iconic handset because in terms of underlying specs and modules, the Xperia T3 is also equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU at 1.4GHz (quad-core), 1GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, 8-megapixel main and 1.1-megapixel front-facing camera from Exmor RS technology, and 2500mAh battery.

Furthermore, do not expect a significant difference from Xperia M2 and Xperia T2 Ultra. There might be a few stuff to consider in buying a 5.3-inch phone, its tricky display size with 720-pixel resolution. And before I can forget, availability of Sony Xperia T3 will start by July 2014 as noted by reports.
