Computex 2014 in Taipei brought us a handful of gaming PC from Gigabyte, MSI, and Asus. And these upcoming machines are treated with Intel Core i7 (Haswell) CPU and paired with NVidia's GeForce GTX power-efficient GPU. Aside from 15.6-inch gaming laptops, the event also revealed a series of smartphones and tablets which are expected to arrive in stores before the end of 2014.

For this article review or roundup, I would like to start with Acer Iconia Tab 8. A new line of 8-inch Android tablet treated with Intel Atom Z3745 (quad-core), 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 16GB or 32GB of storage, 5-megapixel main and 2-megapixel front-facing cameras, and full high-definition (HD) IPS display. And it is more powerful compared to Acer Iconia A1-830 with 1GB of memory and a dual-core Intel Atom CPU.

Following the appearances of Asus Chromebook C200 in Amazon, the Taiwanese company also revealed the upcoming 13.3-inch model in Computex, the Chromebook C300. The big brother of C200 is equipped with Intel Bay Trail-M CPU, 2GB of RAM, Intel GMA HD GPU, and 16GB of solid-state drive (SSD) storage.

Aside from Asus and Acer, Gigabyte also revealed their own 17.3-inch gaming laptops, the P15F and P27G. Both of these upcoming machines are expected to sport an Intel Core i7 chips, NVidia GeForce GTX 850M or 860M graphics, SSD or m-SATA storage, and either Microsoft Windows 7 or 8.1 operating system.

Gigabyte P15F and P27G are slightly bigger compared to Asus ROG G550JK but both are equipped with the same line of processor.

On the other side, MSI also revealed their own line of 15.6-inch gaming machines, the GS60PE Ghost Pro and GS70 PE2 Stealth Pro. And it is also expected to sport an Intel Core i7 (Haswell) CPU, NVidia GeForce GTX 870M GPU, and 128GB SSD storage. Compared to Gigabyte and Asus, this might be the first powerful gaming PC treated with 3K or 4K display technology.

Next to the above-mentioned Acer tablet, Asus Chromebook, Gigabyte, and MSI gaming laptops, the following are also included for this article review:
