Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is Debuted in Hong Kong for HK 6,288.00

Microsoft officially announced the third generation of Surface Pro last month and it is now headed to the global market to compete in other notable brands. And following the appearances of the said 12-inch ultra-portable device in Taiwan few weeks ago, it is now available in Hong Kong with prices ranging from HK 6,288.00 to HK $15,088.

A handful of Microsoft Surface Pro 3 accessories is also available from about HK 38.00 to HK $1,048.00 only. That is good for an extra charger, stylus and handwritten pens, hardwired network adapter, multi-function base, and exclusive type cover (keyboard). And just like of my expectation, the new version of this machine is pre-loaded with Microsoft Windows 8.1 operating system.

According to reports, the base configuration is powered by Intel Core i3 CPU with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. A much higher memory and storage capacity is also available ranging from 4GB to 8GB and 128GB to 512GB of solid-state drive (SSD). Prices varies base on buyer's selected configuration and additional accessories.

In terms of processor, from Intel Core i3, a more powerful version is also available but that is for a much higher prices compared to what we can get in the base model. That is good for an Intel Core i7-powered variants with 256GB to 512GB of SSD storage. An Intel Core i5 model is also available for about HK 7,888.00 to HK $10,288.

And before I can forget, prices of older Microsoft Surface Pro started to decline last February while the third generation threatens to replaced them in stores.
