Asus 15.6-Inch GX500 Gaming Laptop Debuted in Computex 2014

Few days ago, an Asus ROG G550JK 15.6-inch gaming machine showed out in Computex 2014 in Taipei, Taiwan. Following the appearances of the previously reported model, here comes the GX500 model. A thinner breed with the same fourth generation of Intel Core i7 CPU. According to reports, it is treated with 4K NX500 display technology.

However, that screen technology has been claimed by Toshiba as the first manufacturer to introduced a full high-definition (HD) resolution to a maximum level. Sad to say, I cannot compare that portable machine from Japan to compete with Asus GX500.

On the other side, compared to ROG G550JK, Asus GX500 has a unique 19-millimeter thickness which is slightly closer to some Sony's handheld machines in only 2.2-kilogram weight. And guess what, it is also treated with NVidia's GeForce GTX 860M GPU (graphic card) for optimal battery performance paired with Haswell line of processor.

And somehow, Asus GX500 is a power-efficient gaming laptop which is now in Computex 2014 to tease anyone who are waiting for one-of-a-kind console. Some folks compared this model to Razer Blade, the closest rival of Asus 15.6-inch line of entertainment PC.

As expected, this model will probably run a Microsoft Windows 8.1 operating system and apps that will optimized its performance in 4K NX500 (with 3840 x 2160-pixel resolution) technology.

Specs and other important details related to Asus GX500 is not yet available but it is expected to hit the global market for orders by the third quarter (Q3) of this year. And that might be the most exciting part of this story, to know the underlying modules of the thinnest, lightweight, and ultra-portable gaming PC in 2014.
