New Version of Microsoft Surface Pro with Windows 8.1 is Coming

This might be the right time to start a new entry in Cyber Crave for the month of May 2014. That is when someone from the wild started to open my interest about the upcoming two versions of Microsoft Surface Pro. A handful of information coming from reliable sources tells us that the company is probably planning to introduce a new line of hybrid machines before the end of this year.

According to reports, they are about to name it as Microsoft Surface Pro 3 along of a smaller variant. Both are equipped with Windows 8.1, the latest version of operating system which rolled out few months ago. And these two versions of Microsoft Surface Pro are expected to hit the market with prices closer to what we can find in stores.

However, nobody from Microsoft confirmed the trending topics related to Microsoft Surface Pro or the third generation of the said hybrid computer. Just like of its predecessors, the new breed is coming with fourth generation of Intel Core i3, i5, or i7 processors with about 64GB to 256GB of storage sizes. Or it is also possible for these tablets to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU with 4GB to 8GB of RAM.

Microsoft Surface Pro 2 with Windows 8.1

These are my anticipation for Microsoft Surface Pro and aside from that, the company is probably planning to introduce a 7-inch model to compete with Samsung and Apple as well in other Chinese brands. But we must expect a much higher prices due to its underlying exceptional specs typically designed to cater the needs of Microsoft Windows 8.1 platform.

Going back in February, Microsoft started to offer a 128GB version of Surface Pro 2 for about $500.00 and it was previously reported to hit Best Buy on the next day. And guess what, a report going back in March noted that variants of the said tablet are also expected to arrive in Chinese stores. A bravest decision to bump the costly machines to local Qualcomm Snapdragon powered brands, right?
