Acer Introduces Iconia Tab 8 with Quad Core Intel Atom Z3745 CPU

Before the end of May 2014, Acer introduces a new line of affordable tablet, the Iconia Tab 8. The Taiwanese company continue to surprise us with a budget-friendly slates since the appearances of Acer Iconia A1-830, a dual-core powered Android tablet with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. And guess what, the latest version is expected to sports a quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 CPU which is more powerful compared to the previously reported model (with dual-core chip).

Acer Iconia Tab 8 can be called a low-end or high-end tablet at the same time due to its underlying specs. Compared to Iconia A1-830, it is slightly bigger in terms of screen and it is also treated with a much higher memory capacity. Prices will vary based on user's selected model in terms storage sizes and additional accessories.

For now, no words for any SIM or cellular. And availability of the said 8-inch tablet will start by the third quarter (Q3) of this year.
