GoClever Introduces Orion 785 Ultra-Thin Android Tablet

GoClever was known for being a dedicated producer of smartphones and tablet computers for more than 5 years of existence in Europe. The company offers a handful of Android-powered portable devices in reasonable prices with high-end quality and performance. And their way of reaching consumers gathered a lot of positive feedback not only from European countries but also from Asia.

Furthermore, GoClever introduces Orion 785 recently. A new line of ultra-thin tablet powered by Cortex A7 CPU at 1GHz (quad-core). Compared to Aries 70 which recently appeared in European stores, both are treated with 7-inch display with major difference in underlying processing technology and modules.

The previously reported model is slightly powerful due to its MediaTek MT8389 processor at 1.2GHz clock speed.

GoClever Orion 785 and GoClever Aries 70 are both treated with quad-core technology with the same 1GB DDR3 memory and 8GB of built-in storage. And compared to other brands, this might be the shortcomings of GoClever portable devices. But having a Micro-SD card slot which supports a maximum of 32GB of extra storage is already reasonable for a budget-friendly tablet, right?

According to other reports, GoClever Orion 785 has a full high-definition (HD) IPS display for 1024 x 768-pixel resolution. Under the hood, it has a PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU just like in Aries 70 for a much better viewing angle. The said 7.85-inch tablet is running an Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system which can be upgraded to version 4.4 (KitKat) platform.

In addition, GoClever Orion 785 is also equipped with 2-megapixel of main camera and 0.3-megapixel in front. And in terms of connectivity, this device is also designed to work with a typical Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and 3G. It is capable of streaming contents through its HDMI module to any television, monitors, and LCD projectors in wireless connection.

And Orion 785 is now available for about 140-euro only. Despite of some shortcomings in camera and storage capacity, it has a slim and compacted design of a high-end middle range tablet.
