Lenovo Introduces ThinkPad 11e Yoga for Students and Educators

The company officially revealed a couple of ThinkPad 11e variants to answer the needs of students and educators. A complimentary models packed with a fully configurable Chrome OS that runs on the top of Google cloud technology. Lenovo's ThinkPad 11e and 11e Yoga is up in United States starting on spring for less than $500.00 and up.

Both are inspired by the previous version of Lenovo's IdeaPad Yoga which are now available in stores on the same prices. According to report, the two version of hybrid and convertible machines are expected to come in about $350.00 only (for base price). It is because of its free and pre-loaded Google Chrome OS platform.

However, user can choose from a licensed Windows 8 Pro version in a much higher prices. Specs of these convertible machines are not yet available but it is clear that Lenovo will continue to offer a budget-friendly machines ideal for students and educators as well for other professionals.

Featuring an 11.6-inch high-definition (HD) display treated with anti-glare technology, these two variants of ThinkPad 11e is also equipped with Intel processors (unknown line). It might be a power-efficient chip just like of IdeaPad Yoga 2 for a longer battery life.

Just like of other hybrid machines, the touchscreen-enabled IdeaPad 11e offers a typical features of a laptop and tablet computer. And Lenovo is the only manufacturer capable of creating a game-changer machines to bump with iPad and other handheld devices.
