Xtreamer Multi-Console Android TV Box with Wireless Display Adapter

For the past few months, television boxes continue to showed out like a mushroom. A module which can turn any supported TV to a media control center with its own operating platform, packaging, and guess what, some are also packed with gaming controller. Xtreamer Multi-Console is another variant with the same capabilities and the only thing that makes this device unique, it has a wireless display adapter.

Xtreamer Multi-Console TV box is primarily designed for Android games. However, its capability to stream videos and multimedia files made this module closer to Podoor T518 as well to Huawei's Tron and Zotac ZBox. We do not know how long these television boxes will stay in the market which sometimes drive our curiosity on how the small system will work.

Xtreamer Multi-Console Android TV Box

The Xtreamer Multi-Console Android TV module is powered by Rockchip RK3188 quad-core CPU paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. Supported connectivity includes the Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11n. On its small packing, the device has a two standard USB ports, SD card slot, HDMI, and typical RJ45 Ethernet.

Compared to Podoor T518, Xtreamer Multi-Console is added with external antenna just like of a typical short distance Wi-Fi router. Has a much bigger size and the package includes a wireless air mouse for about 130-euro.

Features of Xtreamer Multi-Console includes an XBMC which enables Apple Airplay, Android's Airpin, CheapCast from Chromecast, and supports for DLNA as well for Miracast wireless display technology. It is also capable of streaming smartphone content to television.

And before I can forget, as I try to compare a handful of different brands, most of these TV boxes are powered by Android 4.2 operating system.
