Satechi Introduces an Android 4.2 Powered Smart TV Box

Most of practical people are looking for any possible alternative to own a necessary gadgets for their living rooms. Availability of television modules for playing video games from Android device to a wider screen continue to rise. Chinese manufacturers brought up a different model capable of streaming movies and TV series from Netflix and other supported online resources.

Satechi introduces their very own Smart TV Box. A budget-friendly module as well alternative for Apple and Google TV. It has a shortcomings in terms of user interface but it is also capable of streaming multimedia content from smartphones, tablets, and other handheld machines.

Furthermore, Satechi Smart TV Box All-in-One Media Solution is powered by a quad-core 1.8GHz CPU paired with 2GB of RAM. No words for the size of its built-in storage but just like of other models, it is possible for this device to sport a 16GB size and MicroSD card slot for extra space. It runs an Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) platform with XBMC app for home theater's setup.

Satechi's Smart TV Box is also equipped with wireless remote control for navigating Android apps and easy access of other settings. From its compacted packaging, the device is also designed to work in a typical Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks with wide support for standard HDMI, USB, SD card slot, and S/PDIF ports.

Compared to Podoor T518 Television Box, Satechi's owned module is much bigger in terms of overall size with dual antennas but both are powered by a quad-core technology. Other affordable TV boxes in stores are Xtreamer's Multi-Console Gaming TV Box and Zero Devices Z6C.

Instead of buying a mini computer with Intel Atom processors, these television modules are also designed to break the barriers between a small and bigger entertainment systems.
