The new wave of Surface Pro 2 which are now headed to retail stores are all packed with Intel Core i5-4300U from the 4200U CPU with the same specs in terms of other parts. Furthermore, Intel Core i5-4300U (quad-core) has a higher clock speed compared to its other variant. The Intel Core i5-4200U at 2.6GHz with 3MB cache which recently appeared in the upcoming Lenovo's ThinkPad T440S Ultrabook is different from the CPU used by Microsoft Surface Pro 2 tablets.

Despite of difference in terms of CPU, reviews of the old Surface Pro 2 model shows an outstanding result except probably for its current price in the market.
