Asus PadFone E Hybrid Smartphone Arrived in Taiwanese Retail Stores

Asus is known in producing the first hybrid smartphone in the market. A game changer in the evolution of mobile phones through their initiatives to produce a unique and multipurpose device. Last month, the company introduced a 4.3-inch PadFone Mini in Taiwan, the first of its kind with exclusive 7-inch docking station.

Following the appearances of the pioneering hybrid machine, a new wave of 4.7-inch model is now available in Taiwanese retail stores. The Asus PadFone E treated with 10-inch docking station. Just like of its smaller predecessor, both are treated with Dynamic Switching Technology. However, it has a much wider screen in tablet mode compared to PadFone Mini.

  • RAM: 1GB LPDDR2
  • Storage: 16GB (with MicroSD card slot for extra storage)
  • Display: 4.7-inch IPS (handset mode), 10-inch (tablet mode) with 1280 x 800-pixel resolution
  • Graphics: Adreno 305
  • Camera: 13-megapixel (main)
  • Connectivity: Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GSM/WCDMA (no words for GPS)
  • Battery: 1820mAh for handset and 5000mAh Lithium-Ion for docking panel
In addition, it is currently available in Chunghwa Telecom for about 6,000.00 yuan. While the PadFone Mini is up in global market, this new variant of hybrid phone from Asus is also expected to follow the footsteps of its predecessors in the global market.

And before I can forget, according to report, it is currently available in either white and black models only.
