Acer's New Chromebook C720P-2600 Model Specs, Prices, and Update

A new and updated version of Acer Chromebook C720P-2600 is coming in United States retail stores this 2014. Another variant of original touchscreen-enabled machine with the same HD LED 11.6-inch screen, 10-point touch, and Chrome operating system. According to report, availability will start within this month of January for about $300.00 only.

There is no major changes for Chromebook C720P-2600 compared to the first and original model. It is still treated with 2GB of RAM and Haswell line of processor in different color.

Furthermore, it is not an upgraded version of Chromebook C720P line. The price remains in $299.99 as previously presented by Google.

And compared to HP's Chromebook 11 with Samsung Exynos dual-core processor, the C720P has the advantage in terms of storage capacity but the price is slightly higher. Both are offered with extra 100GB Google Drive storage and 11.6-inch touchscreen display. And the advantage of HP version which also appeared in Amazon for about $270.00 recently, is the 1.7GHz clock speed from a dual-core CPU.
