TCL Idol X+ 5-Inch Phone with 2GHz MediaTek MT6592 8-Core CPU

For about 2-thousand yuan, TCL brought out a 2GHz eight-core powered handset. The first phone I heard with more than four operational cores spotted by Engadget China. It is the new predecessor of Idol X or the second generation of its kind to reached the market by January 15, 2015. According to a reliable source, availability will start in Jingdong Mall in China.

Chinese smartphone manufacturers are moving forward to bring a more powerful handsets. TCL is better known as Alcatel in other Asian countries. The first company to introduced a MediaTek MT6593 octa-core chip in Idol X+ (X Plus) handset and its variant.

Idol X+ will come in either blue, white, and yellow colors. However, availability in other regions will follow as soon the first wave of handset lands to Chinese users.
