Samsung Introduces 1TB 840 EVO mSATA Solid State Drive

A new line of 840 EVO solid state drive (SSD) from Samsung is coming. Their first and very own 1TB mSATA model capable of operating in a maximum of 540MB/s for read and 520MB/s of writing speed. According to reports, it is the first 1TB model coming from the company, a lightweight storage device compared to a typical hard disk drive.

Furthermore, the new line of 840 EVO is a compacted version. A smaller model with 2.5-inch packaging but designed with the same density level and performance from its predecessors. Typically manufactured for thin ultra-portable machines with high storage capacity compared to some other brands in the market. And it is also designed to work with desktop computers with SSD support.
