Dell Venue 8 Pro Windows 8.1 Tablet with Microsoft Office 2013

Dell is brave and prominent manufacturer to introduce an 8-inch tablet. Compared to some 7-inch brands in the market, Venue 8 Pro has a lowest price in less than $300.00 each. But on the other side, the big brother of this ultra-portable machine, the Venue 11 Pro comes with a closer specs but with different price. A good indication that Dell is joining the competition to offer affordable tablet packed Microsoft software.

Aside from having a power-efficient Intel Atom Z3740D (from the line of Intel Bay Trail) processor, it runs Windows 8.1 with pre-installed Microsoft Office 2013 Home and Student Edition. It means, programs running in a typical PC are now moving to a touchscreen environment.

Editing our documents in Venue 8 Pro and its variants are now changing our way of thinking towards MS Word, Excel, and even with PowerPoint presentation. Compared to Apple's iPad Mini, the price is quite reasonable for those folks who wants to keep up with their work from MS Office applications.

Accessories for Venue 8 Pro are also available. That includes a customized case and digital pen but that is for another set of prices. Compared to Android computing platform, there are some capabilities and features of this tablet which are not available in Google's native operating system.
