Acer C720 Chromebook with Intel Core i5-520M and Ubuntu 13.10

Acer introduces the budget-friendly machine few months ago with Intel Celeron 2955U (Haswell), remarkable battery performance and speed in less than $200.00. And now, a new line with Intel Core i5-520M showed out in European website recently. That includes a model with Intel Core 2 Duo closer to some ThinkPad machine specs.

A new improvement has been added to this variant because of Intel Core i5 underlying dual-core technology and efficiency. And the good thing about it aside from the promising performance, the new Acer C720 series is running an Ubuntu 13.10 Linux operating system. The most common freeware for most of its predecessors.
