Samsung Galaxy Note 2 vs Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD

We heard Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD way back in February and now, reviews of 10.1-inch tablet shows a few difference to the newest upcoming handheld machines. Compared to Samsung's Galaxy Note, it is more lighter because probably of its sleek design. A little bit thinner and got a shiny overall look. We also tried to compare the slate to third generation of iPad. However, we cannot find a closer similar features aside from its operating system support of HTML 5.

MediaPad 10 FHD is only 8.8-millimeter thick and weighing 580-gram only. Galaxy Note II is 20-gram heavier because of its plastic container cover. The built-in speakers is really visible compared to other brands which are hiding this part either in both sides or in the bottom portion. But of course, it has a much clearer sound with a fully dynamic stereo performance.

The price of Galaxy Note is much higher compared to MediaPad 10 but with a promising features which are not available in the other. And the advantage of having a Samsung tablet is like joining the group of geeks who are willing to rely in a pen-based technology than to find a much cheaper device.

In terms of accessories and cases, most of available stuff for Galaxy Note could also fit on MediaPad. But you need to do a little modification to target its rear camera and some buttons located in sides. We saw a couple of these tablet cover recently, a rubberize and made of leather-like synthetic fiber in a shiny container.  And we suggest a right typical design for each machine than to end-up with a disaster in drilling your selected cases.

Both of these slates are powered by Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) but runs in a different processor and equipped with pen-based technology.

Storage capability are almost the same and availability remains the big question for us to cover. Pricing details are all available on their manufacturer's official website or product page and you can find handful of photos as well video review in YouTube. We also tried to compare Galaxy Tab with MediaPad which shows a great difference in terms of underlying parts last month. A 7-inch model of Huawei slate is also available in AT&T along of its two big brothers.

And you can join us as we continue to follow MediaPad and Galaxy Note as well their other competing brands in the market after of this break.
