Asus Taichi 13-inch Convertible Touchscreen Notebook

This winter season, expect the upcoming game changer notebook of Asus, the 13-inch dual-display Taichi with Microsoft Windows 8 operating system. It is like an all-in-one PC in some manner but still an ultra-portable device. A touchscreen-enabled workstation with a typical LCD display powered by Intel Core i-technology.

We also heard Asus Taichi last month when the company CEO, Jerry Shen introduces the new version of PadFone. However, there are few other models similar to this machine which are now headed to the market. This touchscreen notebook got a powerful underlying parts, the third generation of Intel Core i5 and i7 CPU. Availability will probably start by December and we need to expect its appearances soon.

The following are the currently available specs of Asus Taichi coming from B&H:
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-3317U or Core i7-3517U
  • RAM: 4GB DDR3
  • Storage: Available in either 128GB or 256GB SSD
  • Display: 1920 x 1080-pixel
  • Connectivity: 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0
  • OS: Windows 8 64-bit version
Furthermore, this machine is quite different from a typical notebook computer. It is because of its two screen where user can shift from one side to another. It is also possible to turnoff the other to work in a single display.

The above features of Taichi shows that user needs to study the right way to use the device. This can make the entire stuff to stand out among the competing brands but leaving a few stuff to remember from its ergonomic design.
