HP Envy Spectre XT Notebook with Intel Core i5 CPU

I spotted HP's Envy Spectre XT recently in a detailed review made by Slash Gear. And somehow, this machine amaze me because of its underlying technology starting from its solid-state drive (SSD) storage to a 4GB of DDR3 memory. Aside from that, it is powered by Intel Core i5-3317U processor (1.7GHz) which can probably boast its entire performance for processing high-definition (HD) video and large images, right? However, I handed a predecessor of this notebook few weeks ago and tried to figure out the similarities but failed to catch the main stream of its performance because of some irregularities in storage media.

The 128GB SSD storage of Spectre XT is not common to some ultrabook in the market. Upgrades is currently available to utilize a maximum of 256GB size but the one used by my source is already packed with a much lower storage media. And what is good about it, upgrade is much easier because of the wide variety of exchangeable device.

HP Envy Spectre XT Intel Core i5 Notebook

Envy Spectre XT supports 1366 x 768-pixels resolution just like of any notebook computers with 13-inches screens. It is supported by Intel 4000 GPU (built-in) but according to other reports, this is not a good choice for PC gaming. Much better to choose NVidia GeForce and this might be the shortcoming of this model. And aside from that, it is also bundled with Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.

Complete specs of Spectre XT is currently available in official website of HP and you can try to look around for other important details that will give you a more clearer view of the entire machine. The price is also reasonable as noted by its review but there are cheaper machines which can tease us with Core i5 processors and similar DDR3 RAM.

Asking for what makes this notebook stands over the other brands? Probably, its aluminum and metallic design in-and-out is the very eye-catching feature.

And before we can forget, it is currently available in most of HP's recognized outlets in United States as well in other countries.
