Intel Atom N450 vs N470 CPU

Netbooked recently do a little tricky thing for Intel's two netbook processors, the Intel Atom N450 which is most common as early as December 2009 and the other N470 platform which come next the other. Peter of the said source who made this test used a Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s with the newest N470 and IdeaPad S10-3 machine with N450.

We cannot exactly determine the series of test he made for the two machines, what type of applications he run on both models or other things within which could probably interfere the performances of the two Intel processors. It is quite confusing but somehow, he manage to show us the real thing from his computers.

According to result, in terms of Windows support performance of CPU's, N470 hits a score of 2.5 while the other model shows a little difference of 2.3. And from the other result like memory operations and graphics performance, surprisingly, the both machines shows a similar result of 4.5 and 3.0 respectively. So it means, these two platform are all good for playing typical 720-pixels video along with some light available applications installed.

Here is Netbooked benchmark result as he compared these two computer scores in some series of test:

Intel Atom N450 vs N470

After all, Intel Atom N470 shows a much quicker or gets a much higher score than the N450 but it is a very slight difference which could not totally boost the two Lenovo's netbook in a high speed performances, but all shows a regular thing that can be done by a mini-laptop computers.
