Asus Eee PC 1008P recently appeared in a European site tech reports in Karim Rashid Edition but right now, Bloogee.Net as the same source, confirmed that Eee PC 1008P-KR is now shipping packed with a 2 batteries in Italy and in France but pricing is not stated. It is quite similar to Eee PC 1008HA model but the current design is quite cool compared to its original casing because of designers perspective.
It has a 2900mAh removable Lithium Polymer battery which could last for 6-hours running on the top of Pinetrail platform, according to Hot Hardware. This model is not powered by 2-cell or 2 batteries at the same time, the other one is an additional free pack and probably, as part of their marketing plan.
