Vernee is giving a free $30 coupon for their very own Apollo Lite phone through Facebook. These simple steps can give you a chance to avail the $200 Android phone through a simple activity in social networking site. However, there will be no assurance for this promo because a company representative will choose ten random winners among those Facebook users to send a $30 coupon.

Before of anything else, Vernee Apollo Lite is powered by Helio X20 deca-core (64-bit) processor. The first of its kind and a 4G LTE-enabled and dual-SIM smartphone.

Virtoba X5 VR Headset for Simulating IMAX-Like Movies at Home

Virtoba is not new in producing virtual reality (VR) headset. Following the appearances of their visual entertainment product line, the X5 series has something to offer than its pioneering models. According to reviews, it is ideal for simulating IMAX-like 3D movies for less than $40. Aside from having a cost-effective price, it is also noted for having a good viewing angle.

Furthermore, Virtoba X5 has a complete adjustable 120-degrees field of view (FOV) from its aspherical 42mm lens and interpupillary distance (IPD) support of about 58mm up to 72mm with 5mm auto-focus adjustable feature. It is also equipped with "Indirect Touch" primary button and adjustable headband.

In addition, Virtoba X5 is also ideal for rendering several 3D video games to simulate a vivid and realistic scenes. It has a core flexible headphone which is essential for a good sound quality and high phonetic effects for users.

Aside from the above mentioned qualities of X5, for me, it is an ideal gadget beginners who would like to experience the rumbling environment of any cinematic effects at home in a cost-efficient device.

iRulu eXpro X1 Tablet Treated with Allwinner A33 Quad-Core Processor

While taking a look around in a Chinese-owned website, I spotted the 7-inch iRulu eXpro X1 tablet. It is equipped with Allwinner A33 processing chip with only 8GB of storage. For others, its built-in storage capacity may not enough for saving more than ten movies and other multimedia files, but it is enough for users who are looking for a $50 tablet.

Compare to other 7-inch tablets, iRulu eXpro X1 is another low-cost machine with standard underlying features to run an Android platform. The memory is only half of other models manufactured in mainland China. And probably, the entire package shows that is also enough for the cheapest handheld.

For the complete specification of eXpro X1, see the following list below:
  • CPU: Allwinner A33 at 1.5GHz (Quad-Core)
  • Memory: 512MB DDR3
  • Storage: 8GB eMMC (with expansion slot that supports a maximum of 32GB)
  • Screen Size: 7-inch TFT with 16:9 Ratio

The operating system is slightly old compared to other tablet computers and convertibles. Unlike with Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 (iPad Mini clone), the other bigger model from China is already treated with dual-boot system and Android 5.1 (Lollipop). But the good thing about the smaller machine, it is available in several different vibrant colors.

Chuwi Hi10: Just Another Dual-Boot Enable, Intel Atom Cherry Trail Z8300 Tablet

Due to my curiosity about a dual-boot enable tablets, I end up searching a handful of these China-made machines with the same Windows 10 and Android 5.1 (Lollipop) platforms. Probably, because of Intel Atom Cherry Trail capability to support the requirements of both operating systems, the case brought up the name of these models in global market.

Chuwi Hi10 is another line of dual-boot capable machine with Teclast TBook 10 (convertible tablet) and Cube iWork 10 Flagship. And guess what, all of these models are compacted device with a common 10.1-inch screens. The only difference are, their Chinese name, right? That is because of their quad-core chips and similarities in memory sizes.

But before of anything else, see the following for the complete specification of Chuwi Hi10:
  • CPU: Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5 Z8300 at 1.44GHz (Quad Core)
  • Memory: 4GB DDR3
  • Storage: 64GB eMMC (flash)
  • Screen Size: 10.1-inch with 1900 x 1200-pixel Resolution
  • Camera: 2-megapixel (front-facing), 2-megapixel (rear-facing)
  • Connectivity: 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, No words for Ethernet support
  • Ports: USB 3.0, Micro USB, Micro HDMI, Standard 3.5mm Headset Jack
  • Battery: 6600mAh Lithium-Ion
  • Others: Available in Plastic Black
Furthermore, Hi10 (also considered as another 2-in-1 machine) supports a maximum of 128GB of external storage and that makes this tablet different from other China-made models on the market. Compared to Teclast TBook 10, it is slightly slower due to its 1.44GHz processing speed.

And before I can forget, this model is also equipped with a docking keyboard just like of the above mentioned convertible tablets. It is not just a dual-boot enable device for OS, but another excellent machine for playing multimedia files.

Teclast X98 Pro vs Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 - Comparison of Intel Atom Cherry Trail Powered Tablets

Upon knowing Xiomi Mi Pad 2 (iPad Mini clone), I tried to look around for any Intel Atom Cherry Trail powered tablet to compare. In my surprise, I found out that Teclast X98 Pro is a dominant 9.7-inch model with the same line of processing chip. Although it is much bigger than the other China-made machine, both are running a quad-core processors.

The price of X98 Pro is slightly higher compared to Mi Pad 2 and it is equipped with Intel Atom Cherry Trail T4 series chip. However, both of these models are all available with either Microsoft Windows 10 and Android 5.1 (Lollipop). And due to almost similar specs and minimal difference, these two different tablets are also treated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC (flash) storage.

Recently, I spotted a big brother of Teclast X98 Pro, dual-boot capable and convertible TBook 10. It is also equipped with the same line of Intel's quad-core chip and pre-loaded operating systems.

In behalf of X98 Pro and Mi Pad 2, see the following list of specs for you to compare the two different ultra-portable machines from Chinese manufacturers:

Teclast X98 Pro Specifications
  • CPU: Intel Atom Cherry Trail T4 Z8500 (Quad Core) at a Maximum of 2.24GHz
  • Memory: 4GB DDR3
  • Storage: 64GB eMMC
  • Screen Size: 9.7-inch with 4:3 Ratio
  • Screen Resolution: 2048 x 1536-pixel
  • Camera: 2-megapixel (front-facing), 5-megapixel (rear-facing)
  • Ports: Micro HDMI, Micro USB, Standard 3.5mm Headset Jack
  • Connectivity Support: 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0
  • Battery: 30400mWh Lithium-Ion
  • Others: 3G Module Support
Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 Specifications
  • CPU: Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5-Z8500 (Quad-Core) at 2.2GHz
  • Memory: 2GB DDR3
  • Storage: Available in Either 16GB or 64GB
  • Screen Size: 7.9-inch
  • Screen Resolution: 2048 x 1536-pixel
  • Camera: 5-megapixel (front-facing), 8-megapixel (rear-facing)

Aside from having a more powerful camera, the 2GB DDR3 memory of Mi Pad 2 remains its shortcoming. Both of these models shares a similar resolution in a different screen sizes.

And my verdict, aside from having a good underlying capabilities and power, these models are excellent choice for cost-effective tablets in playing multimedia files (for different video formats) and opening lightweight files.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 2: Windows 10 Home Edition and Android 5.1 Tablet

Next to bunch of two-in-one tablets, Xiaomi Mi Pad 2 is another portable machine packed with Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition and a very common Android 5.1 (Lollipop). According to reports, this device is available in either three different versions. One is pre-loaded with a licensed platform from Microsoft, one treated with the flavor of Android, and a dual-boot version.

Xiomi Mi Pad 2 is not a convertible tablet just like of TBook 10 from Teclast and iWork 10 from Cube. However, it is look like an iPad Mini 2 clone due to its metallic appearances. It has an elegant external design just like of Apple's blockbuster tablet in a high-quality looking case. But of course, do not expect an iOS enabled machine from a Chinese brand! For about $200 to $280, it is a good option for cost-sensitive consumers.

For more about Xiaomi Mi Pad 2, see the following list of specifications:
  • CPU: Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5-Z8500 at 2.2GHz
  • Memory: 2GB
  • Storage: Available in 16GB and 64GB Models
  • Screen Size: 7.9-Inch with 2048 x 1536-pixel Resolution
  • Display: IPS Tech, Retina, QXGA-Enabled

  • Ports: Type-C USB (Micro), Standard 3.5mm headset jack, Mini HDMI
  • Camera: 8-megapixel (rear-facing), 5-megapixel (front-facing), both are treated with autofocus
  • Battery: 6190mAh
  • Others: Available in Either Silver or Pink
Furthermore, Mi Pad 2 is maybe capable of having an external TF card storage, but there is no words for its available supported size. And regardless of operating system, the 64GB model with dual-boot capability comes with a much higher price.

In addition, this tablet has no docking keyboard just like of other convertible models.

Cube iWork 10 Flagship 2-in-1 Tablet with Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5-Z8300 CPU

Following the appearances of Teclast TBook 10 from China, Cube iWork 10 Flagship is another convertible two-in-one machine treated with Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5-8300 chip. Guess what, both are also pre-loaded with Microsoft Windows 10 Home Edition and Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating systems. A portable machine with dual-boot capability running in quad-core technology.

Cube iWork 10 is another convertible tablet from Chinese market. Compared to the current price of TBook 10, it is slightly lower due to some indifference. According to my own perception, both of these 2-in-1 machines are coming from a single Chinese manufacturer. That is because, both has a common underlying specs.

For more about iWork 10, see the following specs below:
  • CPU: Intel Cherry Trail X5-Z8300 at 1.44GHz (Quad-Core)
  • Memory: 4GB DDR3
  • Storage: 64GB (flash) with 128GB external TF card support
  • Screen: 10.1-inch with 1900 x 1200-pixel Resolution, 10-points IPS Touch Screen Tech
  • Connectivity: Standard 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, No Word for Ethernet Port
  • Camera: 2-megapixel (front-facing), 2-megapixel (rear-facing)
  • Color: Deep Blue
  • Ports: Micro USB, Type-C, Micro HDMI, Standard 3.5mm Headset Jack
  • Battery: 7500mAh (for tablet module only)
  • Others: With Type-C Port, Built-in Microphone, and Stereo Speakers
Unlike with TBook 10, iWork is equipped with dual-camera but they are both designed to support a maximum of 128GB of external flash storage. A few difference between these two machines shows a the flagship of a Chinese brands, right?

In addition, just like of TBook 10, the iWork 10 Flagship is also equipped with a docking keyboard.
