Sony Xperia T2 Ultra Debuted in Taiwan for NT $14,900

A Chinese website reported the appearances of Sony Xperia T2 Ultra in Taiwanese stores. However, availability will start by April 11, 2014 for NT $14,900.00 or about US $500.00. The 6-inch handheld device (phablet) is about to compete with local brands coming from HTC and Asus. And this might be the most exciting part of the game when significant changes in prices continue.

Compared to other 6-inch phablets in Taiwan, Sony Xperia T2 Ultra shows a few advantage from Japan. Aside from having a good reputation from reviews, its 13-megapixel main camera remains the outshining module of the said handheld machine.

A handful of smartphone drop test videos are currently available in YouTube from the top competing brands. However, this seven minutes clip created by Tech Smart remind me of what we can expect from Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, and the blockbuster Apple iPhone 5s. And this might be the coolest stuff I ever heard by giving away a three well respected brands just to know the strongest handset.

Samsung Galaxy S5 might be strong enough to stand against drop from a certain height as the result. Apple iPhone 5s is the first device to surrender in a minimum level while the two competing brands compete for another step (even in 7-feet high).

It is made of a high-quality hand crafted material available in either beige with yellow, black with red, or brown with orange stitching. According to review, it offers an excellent and comfortable space for its supported tablets.

For about 300-euro, Aston Martin's Folio BZ (for second to fourth generation of Apple tablets) case is synonymous to other high-end products of the company in stores. As we all know, the well-respected company in Britain continue to tease celebrities and the rich for their collectibles. However, the quality remains their top priority to answer the needs of consumers.

Furthermore, Folio BZ offers a compacted multipurpose pocket which is really ideal for businessman and working professionals who would like to protect their gadgets. Compared to a rubberized and plastic covers, it offers a glossy outside appearances accompanied by the strong but elegant stitches.

Following the appearances of Nokia Lumia 1320 in Chinese stores in December of 2013 and Lumia Icon way back in the second week of February, the company officially announced the X and XL series. And guess what, it is now available in India for about $140.00 only. According to reports, this might be the cheapest smartphone treated with a fully-customized Android operating system instead of Windows Phone 8 platform.

Nokia X series is also available in several models with different technical specification. The size is ranging from 4-inch to 5-inch with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, and Micro-SD card support. Nokia X+ offers a few difference from the base model in terms of memory capacity and storage space. And Nokia XL has a 5-inch WVGA screen which is much wider compared to the two other variants.

Asus 11.6-Inch C200 Chromebook Showed Out from the Wild

Online Partner (Swedish Google Apps Authorized Reseller) in Google Plus surprisingly revealed Asus C200 Chromebook along with Chromebox M004U which is now available in Amazon, Tiger Direct, and Newegg for less than $200.00. However, the said 11.6-inch machine has no technical specification that could give us a complete reference about its underlying modules.

Asus C200 Chromebook is the first line Chromium-powered notebook from the Taiwanese company to join HP 11-1101US and Acer AC720 which recently appeared in stores for less than $300.00 respectively. Both of the three Chromebooks are relatively different in terms of brands and manufacturers but we must expect a powerful line of 11.6-inch machines with a budget-friendly tags.

In terms of specs, just like of HP and Acer, Asus C200 Chromebook is probably powered by Intel Atom CPU or Bay Trail technology. The newest line of power-efficient processor which is also available in other 11.6-inch brands.

Asus 11.6-Inch C200 Chromebook

As noted in the above photo, Asus C200 Chromebook offers a 2-year of free Google Drive storage just like of what we can get from HP and Acer. That includes a login screen and keys of Chrome OS. And the said system may offer a longer battery life due to its underlying fanless technology. Other related reports noted that it is possible for this machine to have a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage.

However, nobody knows the exact thing about C200 Chromebook except for that those folks who handed the first model. This might be a surprising Chromebook to hit the Google Play Store few days from now.

Roundup: Asus PadFone X, HTC One M8, PSP Vita Firmware and More!

The first quarter of 2014 brought up a lot of anticipated smartphones and tablets. The evolution continue when manufacturers and producers gathered in World Mobile Congress (WMC) in Barcelona, Spain to introduce their new line of gadgets. That includes the surprising appearances of Samsung Galaxy S5 along with the rival brands.

Going back in March, AT&T revealed the technical specification of Asus PadFone X. A 5-inch Android 4.4 (KitKat) smartphone treated with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in flash storage. The said handset was debuted in CES 2014 way back in January. An eye-catching hybrid phone with 9-inch docking station powered by a separate battery.

However, compared to Samsung which also introduced their new line of Gear wearable gadgets, Asus brought out their very own Fonepad 7 Android phablet. But on the other side, the Korean company got the official certification of FCC for their SM-T800 tablet. And according to reports, this might be the new line of Samsung Galaxy Tab to hit the market in 2014.

HTC One M8 is another anticipated 5-inch smartphone of this year. I considered this Android 4.4 smartphone as one of Samsung Galaxy S5 toughest competitor aside from Sony Xperia Z (a Wi-Fi only variant also appeared in Japan) and LG G Flex which is now headed to European stores.

In my own perspective, HTC brought up a confusing One Max way back in December of 2013 followed by HTC One X in February.  Aside from that, the Taiwan-based company also revealed a colorful line of Butterfly S Android handset before the end of last year.

While Android 4.4 continue to tease us for another user's experience, Sony officially announced the availability of Xperia Z series with Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) platform.

Furthermore, the gaming industry has been surprised by MSI AG220 and MSI AG240 all-in-one PC. Both of these models are powered by Intel Core i7 technology and has a capability to support a maximum 16GB of RAM and SSD storage.

And before I can forget, in Sony PlayStation Vita firmware version 3.10 received a newly updated screen to offer a new set of shortcuts and more accessible memory management capability. That makes a distinction compared the older GUI of another blockbuster ultra-portable gaming console.

Gresso Introduces Azimuth A1 Dual-SIM Luxury Phone

Following the appearances of Meridiist Infinite from TAG Heuer, Gresso introduces their very own dual-SIM Azimuth A1 luxurious phone from about $2000.00 and up. It is made with titanium metal and has been crafted with 18K white gold keys and logo. And guess what, according to reports, this might be the first line of luxurious handset to embrace a dual-SIM technology.

Gresso Azimuth A1 has a lower specs compared to what we can get from Sony Xperia Z series or Samsung Galaxy S5 as well to any of Apple's iPhone. However, due to its limited and well-crafted design, it is probably attractive for buyers who are looking for collectors item.

In terms of specs, Gresso Azimuth A1 is treated with 2GB of built-in storage (not enough for Windows Phone 8 default installation), 1.3-megapixel main camera, Bluetooth 2.0, and 1,100mAh battery. Compared to other brands, a 2GB of storage space completely limited for small applications. And probably, the said handset is typically design for calling and sending of messages only.

Gresso Azimuth A1 Dual-SIM Luxury Phone

Furthermore, Gresso Azimuth A1 is only available in 1,000 pieces. This will make the dual-SIM phone expensive compared to other brands coming from China, Taiwan, and even from Apple.
